Materials compliances

XP Power is committed to ensuring that the materials we use are in conformance to global regulations, industry standards and customer-specific requirements in order to minimise negative environmental impact of our products. XP Power developed a robust Material Compliance program by which we establish our internal material compliance policies and corresponding management processes by adopting best industrial practices.

See below for statements regarding material compliance requirements, such as RoHS, REACH, California Proposition 65, TSCA and specific substances. For declaration requests and other questions, please contact sales.

The waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE) directive (2012/19/EU)

Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) contains materials, components and substances that may be hazardous. This can present a risk to human health and the environment when this waste is not handled correctly.

Equipment marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin is electrical and electronic equipment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that waste electrical and electronic equipment should not be discarded together with unseparated municipal waste, but must be collected separately. As a consumer, you have an important role in recycling this equipment and contributing to the protection of the environment.

XP Power is registered as a WEEE Producer with the UK Environment Agency and our WEEE registration number is: WEE/HH0049TZ. XP Power meets its obligation to the WEEE Directive in the UK through membership of a Government Approved Producer Compliance Scheme (Accerio) and by providing its customers with a Recycling Programme for end of life products.

When a product reaches its end of life, contact us at xppower.uk@accerio.com to arrange its recycling. XP Power will work with you to arrange for the recycling of the product.
